NO. 08 WATER MILL PRIMARY SCHOOL 16-12-2010
Thank you from all the Staff for all the good wishes, gifts and cards. We hope you and your families have a happy and restful holiday and we look forward to seeing your children in school on Wednesday January 5th at 9:00 a.m.
FRIENDS OF WATER MILL
Many thanks to The Friends of Water Mill who have worked so very hard to organise the Christmas Fair.
Our Year 5 class raised a grand total of £53.00 at their cake sale in aid of Birmingham City Mission Toy Appeal. Well done to everyone who supported this worthwhile cause and very well done to Year 5!
Well done to all our children and staff for a tremendous performance of all our school plays. All the hard work was worth it for the enjoyment and pride it brought.
Congratulations to all our pupils who have had work published in the ‘Young Writer’s Book’.
If you wish to order photographs of the Christmas Play, order forms are in hall. Please return the form and the money (cash only) by tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. Photos will be delivered on the first day of term, but no late orders can be accepted.
A DVD of the performance can be ordered at a cost of £12.00 and will be available in January. Order forms are also in the hall to be returned tomorrow.
We have a parent hotline set up for emergency messages e.g. if the weather turns dangerous, as it did last year, and we have to close the school. The number to ring is: 08447 70 75 76
You then have to enter the school ID which is: 44681
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
After School Club breaks up this evening at 5:30p.m. and returns on Wednesday 5th January.
Please remember that all bookings and payments for next half term must be received by 9:00 a.m. tomorrow Friday 17th December as due to pressure of numbers your child will not otherwise have a place at the club.
Thank you to all of you who have already paid for the theatre trips in January. For those who haven’t, you will be receiving a reminder, when we come back to school! The cost is £11.00 per child. KS1 trip is on Wednesday 12th January and KS2 trip is on Friday 21st January.
Children are asked to make something to wear, from paper, foil, fabric or whatever they wish to go over their school uniform for the party. THERE WILL BE PRIZES!
Please check tonight and return all school books, children do not take school books home over the holiday.
Please ensure that your child’s school uniform still fits including PE kit and that all items are named.
Please remember children should wear school uniform on the last day of term.
