Dear Parents/Carers,

VISUALISE COMPETITION LAUNCH

Congratulations to Ella Tucker and Akua Amankwah-Poku who won 3rd prize in the 7-11 category and Lewis Gaynor who was a runner up.

Year 3 won the collaborative prize for the whole class quilt, which they all designed and some of them constructed, whilst in Year 2.  They have won £100 worth of materials for their class.  Thank you everyone who supported us.

The exhibits will be shown in Units 10 & 13 on the lower ground floor of the Pavilions Shopping Centre until 31st October 2010.  There are also many other events taking place across the city over half term.

Please visit www.visualise-birmingham.org

for details.  You can also vote in the PEOPLE’S VOTE for an overall winner from all categories.

HARVEST FESTIVAL

Many thanks to everyone who sent flowers, fruit and vegetables we were delighted to pass this on to St. Marys Hospice.  The collection for Action Aid raised £58.00 and this will sent after half term.

BOOK FAIR

Book Fair will be open this evening for the final time between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m.

CONTACTING SCHOOL

The office phones are manned between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 0121 464 7769. Please do not ring outside these times as messages may not get passed on at busy times.

The After School Club phone is manned from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. only – 0121 464 3013

PARENTS EVENING

It was good to see so many parents and be able to exchange so many positive reviews about the children.

However, a great many children were brought into school with their parents.  Please remember that members of staff look after children in emergency only, if and when babysitting arrangements have broken down.

Parents Evening is for parents only and we are unable to make more than this minimal provision as any help given is through the goodwill of our support staff.
