Dear Parents/Carers,

VISUALISE COMPETITION LAUNCH

Congratulations to Ella Tucker, Akua Amankwah-Poku and Lewis Gaynor whose ICT/Art work has been short-listed.  Also congratulations to last year’s Year 2.  Their quilt which was designed by the whole class and then made by a smaller group has also been short-listed.  Some pieces of work will be displayed around the city on billboards.

DROP IN SESSIONS

Please remember the drop in session will not take place next week as it is our Harvest Festival.

HARVEST FESTIVAL

Our Harvest Festival is at 9:15 on Wednesday 20th October.  This year it will be lead by Year 3 and will have a Tudor theme.  All parents/carers are very welcome.  Please send your donations of fresh fruit, vegetable and flowers on Tuesday so that we can display them carefully.  There will also be a cash collection during the Harvest.

The produce will be donated to St. Mary’s Hospice as usual and the money to Action Aid.

BOOK FAIR

Our regular book fair will be open after school until 4:00 p.m. on 19th & 20th October.  Children will have a chance to look at the books during the day.  It will also be open for adults only to purchase surprise Christmas presents straight after the Harvest Festival.

 DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Harvest Festival 20th October 9:15 a.m. led by Year 3.  All parents/carers are welcome to attend.

Parents Evening Thursday 21st 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Appointment boards are in the playground for you to sign up for an appointment.

Half Term school breaks up for half term on Friday 22nd October at 3:30 p.m. and returns on Monday 1st November at 9:00 a.m.

Please remember that After Club will break up on Thursday 21st October and returns on Monday 1st November.

Open Days – if you have a child or know of a child starting school September 2011 you are welcome to attend and invite other prospective  parents to our Open Day Sessions on Wednesday 3rd November 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. and Thursday 4th November 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
