Children’s Work Year 1
Recently, our school celebrated ‘Art Week’ and all our children had the opportunity to learn about different artists throughout history. Each class choose a few artists and had the children make their own works of art based on the artists style.
Year 1 were looking at George Seurat, a French painter, who used a pointillism style to make pictures of landscapes and portraits. Pointillism is when you use only dots to create your picture.
The children have made a fantastic attempt at using this style to make their own dinosaurs. Have a look!
They even made some ‘Handysaurs’!
