Children’s Work Year 6

Democracy Day 2017

We have been learning all about what democracy means in Year 6 this term. To celebrate all that we have learnt we had a visit from MP Steve McCabe and enjoyed a three course meal, whilst debating important democratic issues. After much discussion and debate we decided that we did not want the voting age to be lowered to age 16, nor did any of us want to be elected as an MP but we did think that we live in a democracy.
