We all had great fun sharing ideas about Britain, including; strange laws that still exist, British customs, celebrating the diversity of cultures in Britain today and much more. We reminded ourselves about school and British values and why these are so important.

At lunch time we had our first opportunity to be in our house teams for a huge street party in the playground (luckily it did not rain!). We all had a union jack box of ‘traditional’ British food to eat. Thank you Sue in the kitchen for providing this. We then played some games where we could win points for our house teams. The funniest game was where we had to dress our house captains in wedding dresses made from toilet rolls!

All in all it was a fantastic day…
