School Financial Information
All schools are required to publish information about how many school employees have a gross annual salary of £100,000 or more. At Water Mill we do not have any employees earning £100,000 or more.
If you would like to know more about the finances of our school and how this compares to other schools then you can visit the Schools Financial Benchmarking service by clicking on the below link.
Coronavirus Recovery Grant & School Led Tutoring
The school has been given additional funding from the Dfe to help those in school who have been most affected by the impact of the school closures. At Water Mill we are using this funding, together with funding from the school budget, to pay for additional teaching time to give small group/individual support to identified pupils.
The amount we have received is:
Recovery PP Grant - £12,180/2 £6,090 (50% each financial year 21/22 & 22/23)
School Led Tutoring - £9,517.50 7/12ths for 21/22 = £5,551.87 & 5/12th 22/23 = £3,956.62
Miss Linden will be giving additional support to groups of pupils in KS1
Miss James will be giving additional support to groups in KS2
We have applied for an academic mentor and academic tutor to support pupils who have fallen behind in their studies because of COVID school closures.
Those working with the support staff will be assessed prior to starting the programme and ongoing throughout to ensure that they are making the expected progress. They will follow a programme of work prepared by the class teacher sometimes this will be in small groups out of the classroom at other times it will be in class support.
